Information for customers and suppliers
Condor-Werke Gebr. Frede GmbH and its affiliated subsidiaries (hereinafter referred to as ‘CONDOR’) attach importance to the protection of personal data. CONDOR carries out all of its activities on the basis of the European Union Data Protection Regulation (hereinafter referred to as ‘GDPR’) and the supplementary Data Protection Act of the Federal Republic of Germany (hereinafter referred to as ‘New GDPA’).
The following information is provided in accordance with Articles 13 and 14 GDPR and explains how we process your data.

2. PURPOSE AND LEGAL BASIS
If CONDOR receives data, we shall generally only use these data for cooperation purposes.
Unless there are other specific legal provisions, the legal basis for the processing of master data and personal data shall be Article 6 GDPR. The following options shall be particularly relevant here:
Article 6 (1) a) GDPR; Article 6 (1) b) GDPR; Article 6 (1) f) GDPR and Article 6 (1) c) GDPR.
If personal data are processed on the basis of Article 6 (1) a) GDPR, you shall be entitled to withdraw your consent at any time with future effect.
CONDOR shall process personal data in order to take steps prior to entering into a contract or make preparations for a contract, prepare quotes, process orders, provide services, deliver goods, generate invoices, manage customer and supplier master data, ensure IT security and IT operation including testing, for the purpose of attracting and retaining customers, for the purpose of securing supplies from suppliers, for supplier evaluations and to determine credit ratings with credit agencies.
Data shall only be processed for other purposes if the necessary legal requirements according to Article 6 (4) GDPR exist. Any obligations to provide information under Article 13 (3) GDPR and Article 14 (4) GDPR shall also be complied with this case.
We may also process your personal data in order to fulfil legal obligations. These include, for example, retention periods under commercial and tax law and, where appropriate, information to authorities in statistical form based on anonymised data.
3. CATEGORIES OF DATA
The following data (where available) shall be collected and processed by us for the purposes indicated in section 2:
Master data such as company name and address, commercial register details, industry, legal form, size of company, details of interdependencies, economic strength, year of formation, email address, phone number, URL and other company specifications and qualifications.
In addition, names, surnames, roles (for example, MD, authorised signatory, owner, head of department, procurement) as well as various contact details of all contacts.
4. CATEGORIES OF RECIPIENTS AND PLACE OF PROCESSING
We do not share data with third parties and do not transfer personal data to countries outside a Member State of the European Union or to any other state that is party to the Agreement on the European Economic Area.
However, we occasionally use external contractors and service providers (for example, logistics, IT providers) in order to complete our tasks and fulfil contracts. In our case, such external parties as well as CONDOR's affiliated companies are not third parties, since they are required to comply with our data protection regulations. Contract processing agreements are also concluded in such cases and this ensures that you are able to exercise your rights.
Data may also be passed on to recipients to whom we are obliged to pass on data by virtue of legal obligations (for example, law enforcement agencies, courts).
We shall process your data exclusively in computer centres in the Federal Republic of Germany.
5. DURATION OF DATA STORAGE
If required, we shall process and store data for the duration of the business relationship. This shall also include the preparation and processing of a contract or order. In addition, we are subject to various retention obligations, including under the German Commercial Code. Storage duration shall also be subject to further statutory periods of limitation, which, as a rule, are three years, but can also be up to 30 years.
6. OTHER INFORMATION
In the context of initiating business or a business relationship with CONDOR, you must generally provide us with any data we need in order to establish, implement or terminate our relationship.
If the necessary data is not provided, we may have to refuse to establish a business relationship, we may not be able to implement it or we may have to terminate it.
7. DATA SUBJECT RIGHTS
In accordance with Article 15 GDPR, you may request information about your personal data that are stored using the contact details provided above. You may also request the rectification or erasure of your data under certain conditions (Articles 16 and 17 GDPR). You also have the right to request that the processing of your personal data is restricted (Article 18 GDPR). In addition, you have the right to receive the data provided by you in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format (Article 20 GDPR).
8. RIGHT TO OBJECT
You have the option to file an objection with a data protection supervisory authority at any time.
