This commitment has a long tradition within our organization and is reflected in our corporate history. As a member of ZVEI (Central Association of the Electrical Engineering and Electronics Industry), we have pledged to adhere to the ZVEI-VDMA Code of Conduct for social responsibility.

Supply chain

We expect our suppliers to adhere to the principles of the Code of Conduct or apply equivalent codes of conduct. Furthermore, we encourage them to enforce the contents of the Code of Conduct within their supply chains. We reserve the right to systematically and occasion-relatedly review the implementation of the Code of Conduct with our suppliers. This can be done, for example, through questionnaires, evaluations, or audits. If doubts persist regarding compliance with the Code of Conduct, the supplier will be asked to take appropriate countermeasures and report the matter to their relevant contact within our company. If necessary, cooperation will be terminated.

Compliance with applicable laws and other regulations of the countries in which we operate is a matter of course for us. If local laws and regulations are less restrictive, our actions are guided by the principles of the Code of Conduct. In cases where there is a direct contradiction between mandatory local law and the principles contained in this Code of Conduct, local law takes precedence. However, we are committed to adhering to the contents of the Code of Conduct. We have implemented appropriate compliance measures to adequately cover the following topics: corruption, fair competition, money laundering prevention, protection of information and intellectual property, data privacy, export control, and avoidance of conflicts of interest.

We do not tolerate child labor, forced labor, modern slavery, or comparable forms of deprivation of liberty. We respect workers' rights to freedom of association, assembly, and collective bargaining, to the extent legally permissible and possible in the respective country of operation. If this is not permissible, we seek appropriate compromises for our employees.

Compensation is determined according to applicable laws and, if applicable, binding collective bargaining agreements, supplemented by the relevant national minimum wage laws. Employees are informed clearly, comprehensively, and regularly about the composition of their remuneration. We adhere to applicable laws and (international) labor standards (ILO conventions) regarding maximum allowable working hours.
