MDR-F diaphragm pressure switches / control pressure switches are suitable for universal use. Depending on version, they are used for monitoring and control of pressure in liquids and gases, for process control tasks, for pressure monitoring in cooling & lubrication systems, and for automatic switching of compressor and pump motors.
Pressure switch MDR-F.. Versions with Reset function:
MDR-F-Htro (change-over contact with manual Reset as dry-running protection)
Typically, the pressure switch is connected in parallel with the control circuit. For the pressure increase, the manual Reset button must be kept pressed until the monitoring point is exceeded. When the pressure drops below the monitoring point, contact 11-12 closes, and contact 11-14 opens. In case of an independent pressure increase of more than 10% above the monitoring pressure, contact 11-12 opens, and contact 11-14 closes again automatically; otherwise a restart must be made via the manual Reset button. Caution: If the pressure does not increase when the button is pressed, the button must be released, because there must be a system fault.
MDR-F-Hmax (change-over contact with manual Reset max.)
If pressure increase above the upper adjustment point, contact 11-12 opens, and contact 11-14 closes and is locked. When the pressure drops below the upper adjustment point, the contact can be released via the manual Reset button.
MDR-F-Hmin (change-over contact with manual Reset min.)
The function is activated via the manual Reset button when the pressure increases above the lower adjustment point. When the pressure drops to the lower adjustment point, contact 11-12 closes, and contact 11-14 opens. Because the upper switching point (cut-out pressure) of the Reset pressure switch must lie above the system's max. cut-out pressure, the switching state is maintained until the manual Reset button is pressed again.
Other versions of the pressure switch MDR-F ..Reset are available on request (e.g. as stainless steel corrugated pipe version, with gold-plated contacts, as high-pressure switch, etc.).
